These have a great objection if, as natural, you aim the everlasting of what has been built because though the look is comparable to the one got by a mechanical proceeding, the attack with chemical products spoilts very much and even alter the molecular structure of the stone and so its physic-mechanical features, having special trouble in the weakest or less consolidated parts in the stone. We do not take into account the harms that chemical use can cause to the environment and to the people who have to work with them.

.- It can be made in all the marbles and natural stones, existing nowadays in the market.

.- Once the material is finished, its look (even in each piece) is determined by its own nature.

.- It can be made in pieces of any size or quartering.

.- Thikness can be from 1 to 10 cm.

.- You can make engravings of those designs or inscriptions you wish, always with aged look.

.- The most usual surface finishes can be (always in aged look):
Natural (plain and even)
Rough (only in some materials)
Bush-hammered
Rustic
Other less usual.

.- The edges (arris) finishes can be:
Used/worn off (rounded).
Chipped off ( broken).
Sharp edges.

.- Another of the results in the materials which have been previously bush-hammered, honed or rough, is that the differences between the outest and the most sunken parts are characterized by their softness, giving an aged look.

.- One of the most important features in this proceeding "ANTICNOVO" is that the weakest parts of the stone are removed, so, in one hand, its (general) physic-mechanical features are improved and on the other hand, the answer to use has been improved as well, making easier its keeping, that need only a simple cleaning.

To sum up, the finish is practically the same as the one produced by the attack of the natural elements and man use through the pass of time, being centuries or millenia.

All this open new possibilities in stone materials use.
